Most people are not aware of the amount of lint that a dryer can pull in through the grills in the back of the cabinet. This lint settles on the heater tube, motor, and all the other components. As you can see from the first picture, this dryer came close to catching on fire from all the lint inside. Luckily it only smoldered and did not actually burst into flames.
This is why we offer a cabinet cleaning service where we open the dryer and vacuum out all the built up lint BEFORE it becomes a fire hazard. The second picture shows the end result - hard to believe it is the same dryer!
